IUser.GetTokenAndSignatureAsync Method (String, String, String)

Retrieves an authorization token and digital signature for an HTTP request by this user, with no request body.

Parameters

httpMethod
Type: String

The HTTP method (GET, PUT, POST, etc.) for this request.

url
Type: String

The URL for which to retrieve the authorization token and digital signature.

headers
Type: String

The headers to be included in the HTTP request.

Return value

Type: IAsyncOperation<GetTokenAndSignatureResult^ >

An interface for tracking the progress of the asynchronous call. The result is an object indicating the token and the digital signature of the entire request, including the token.

Remarks

An authorization token and digital signature are required whenever making a call to a remote web service. See Xbox Service Authorization for more information.
