Configure Genres

The genres that you configure in Xbox Developer Portal (XDP) specify the genres that categorize your product in the catalog.

The selection of genres that you configure in XDP are not effective until you publish a new instance of your product.

Add or change the selected genres for your product

Configure genres for a product by navigating to the main page for the product in XDP, and then use the following procedure.

To configure ratings metadata for a product

1. On the left-hand navigation menu, click on Genre Setup, or under Catalog & Artwork click on Genre Setup.
   XDP displays the Genre Setup page, which contains a list of genres.
   
2. Select the genres that you want to categorize your product.
   Clear the selection of any genres that you do not want applied to your product.
   
3. When your selections of genres is correct, click Save.
   XDP returns you to the main page for the product.
