Viewing Live Data Streams

Kinect Studio supports viewing live data from the sensor array.

To view live sensor data

1. If there is an XEF file currently open, close it.
2. On the toolbar, click Turn on Monitor.
3. Select the desired view window (2D or 3D), and right-click in the view window to select desired display options.

Color, depth, and body frame data are shown in the 3D or 2D view, depending on selected display options.

Kinect Studio will remain in live view mode until you open an XEF file or close the application. If you begin recording, Kinect Studio will enter record mode and will continue to display current sensor data.
