Devices in access groups make the run-time access to product instances in sandboxes more manageable. Before you can use a device in an access group, the device must be added to the Xbox Developer Portal (XDP) access group.
Security note
Before you add a new device to an access group, you should carefully review the members of the access group because once you add the device anyone who logs into that device, whether retail or test account, will have access to all content on that device.
After devices are added to an access group, they can be granted run-time access to a sandbox with a single click.
For more information about granting run-time access, see Grant Run-time Access.
To learn more about adding devices to XDP, see Enabling Your Dev Kit Entitlement, available in the documentation for the Xbox One XDK and the Xbox One Application Development Kit.
