PIX GPU Captures
Your code can capture GPU timing data, by calling the PIX GPU Capture methods. The GPU capture methods capture the same data as using Capture Next Frame from within PIX. The methods provide code level control over the frame to be captured or when the captures start and end.
Dr. PIX
Dr. PIX provides some detailed analysis of a selected named event or draw call. This tool runs a number of experiments including checking on the clock speed, use of ESRAM, use of Compute Units, use of Hi-Z rejection, and provides a text report on what it has found and what the issues might be. This tool is available through the Deep Analysis tab in PIX.

You can analyze, sort, filter, and graph PIX software counters and hardware counters.
