Xbox One X Dev Kit Settings

We have added a number of new settings for Xbox One X and Xbox One X dev kits.

This article summarizes those settings and where they are in Dev Home, Xbox Device Portal, Xbox One Manager, and xbconfig.

Console Mode
  Select the Console Mode – see Using Console Modes on Xbox One X Dev Kits to Test Your Game.

Debug NIC
  Enable/Disable the Debug NIC – see Using the Xbox One X Dev Kit 2nd NIC.

Developer Storage
  Select the default drive to deploy to. You can select the Development Drive (SSD) or an external drive. See Getting the most out of your Xbox One X Dev Kit and Xbox One X: Which hard drive to use? When to use the development SSD vs. the retail hard drive

Extra Title Memory
  Xbox One X dev kits have an extra 12GB. This setting controls how that memory is allocated. See Configuring and Accessing Extra Memory during Development and Xbox One X: PIX Enhancements in the June 2017 XDK.

Tooling Memory Overflow
  Controls whether PIX uses title memory or not once it has used all of the allotted tooling memory. See Configuring and Accessing Extra Memory during Development and Xbox One X: PIX Enhancements in the June 2017 XDK.

Front Panel Display Buttons
  Assign scripts to buttons. See Xbox One X: Using the front panel display.

Fast Iteration Mode

PIX Fast Transport Mode
